Thank you for viewing the HPS Simulaitons "Aide De Camp" demo program.
To run the demo, type "ADCDEMO" and hit <ENTER>.
The demo is not an from an actual game. However, it does demonstrate all of
the features and options that could be used in an actual game:
Movement (Strategic and Tactical)
Combat
Unit placement
Unit removal
Combat effects
Force pools
The key to ADC is that it gives the user complete control and flexibility
over what the "final product" looks like. Nothing is built-in outside of
the maximum limits (30,000 hexes per game, 250 terrain and 250 unit symbols
per game, 32,000 units per game, 10 individually labeled mapsheets per map).
The demo "artwork" is my own creation, and to be honest is far from the
quality I have seen from many ADC users. However, in my own defense, I
completed the demo in less than 3 hours - start to finish. The beauty of ADC
is that if you want to spend the time making outstanding graphics (terrain
and unit symbols) you can. You can also set the Zoom sizes any way you like.
Or, you can just set up a game quickly and start playing. With ADC, you can
always go back later and embellish your symbols and map - even for games
already in-progress.
The demo does not include the symbol or map editors, so you'll have to live
with my graphics for now.
To order, or for questions please call me at (408) 554-8381.
Thanks again,
Scott Hamilton
